Qualification

Nigeria won this round robin and therefore earned a spot in France 98. Expect them to do well since they are, afterall, Olympic 96 Champions!

Tunesia qualified for France 98 and they are being led by French trainer. Expect them to be tough to beat in France 98.

South Africa qualified by a close call to France 98. Going into their last round robin match, they were tied in points with Congo. South Africa needed to tie or win that match at home to qualify. They did.

Cameroon qualified well here for France 98. No losses, two ties, both against second place Angola. It goes to show that Cameroon's wins on the road made all the difference.

Morocco qualified very well here for France 98. I see Morocco making it to the second round of the World Cup, though they are in a difficult group to do so.
