It originally stood for Visual Basic, but now it stands for either Very Beautiful or Very Bright.
I'm very happy to have her. I got her on November 14th, 1997. That makes her a Scorpio. It was in Dayton, Ohio, the day before the first big snow. It was chilly and cold.
I had just come back from work for my lunch break, and I found her in the stairwell of my four-unit apartment. I learned that it was the post-woman who put her inside because it was just way too cold outside.
When I came home for lunch therefore, I saw her. She was already miawing. She wasn't very happy. She was skinny, and a bit frostbitten. She wasn't at her best. So I opened the door to my apartment and invited her in. She came in on her own, and ever since she's been with me. I moved to Washington, D.C., the following January 17th, which now makes her a Virginian.
She is a very nice and cuddly cat. She will come and lay on or beside you at night. When there are guests, she goes ahead and greets them, so long as they don't appear to be taking over her territory.
She doesn't seem to like cats from the outside very much. She will observe them and hiss at them if they get too close. She loves to be by the window.
She is a very nice cat and for nothing in the world would I give her up. Recently, she just got a new friend. Her name is Fleur, and she is from France. Well, let's say they still need to get along to be true friends! Fleur (no photo available yet) was my grand-aunt Marie-Louise's cat. Marie-Louise passed away this summer, July 16th. I'm sure she's very happy to see her cat cared for; she once had seventeen cats at home! I love and care very much for Marie-Louise. It's an honor watching her Fleur. I am very proud to own her V.B. and Fleur.
Would you like to come over some time to see my best little friends?
